On this page we feature some examples of creativity which has been inspired by the animals, river and woodland that can be found in Mourne Park.
In some cases young people have physically built equipment within the woodland that is then viewable on the cameras.
Others have designed and created equipment in England that has then been transported into the woodland on their behalf, after which they can monitor it remotely.
Another group of young people have watched the live feeds and studied the existing data, before creating their own projects inspired by what they have seen.
This playable Scratch game uses a photograph of the Transmission Zone as a background and a Mourne Park red squirrel to introduce the concept of inputs leading to audio and costume changing outputs

These Sprites were drawn by Year 5 pupils, St Mary’s Primary, Swindon.
Those pupils then coded the squirrel sprites to move in a random direction in front of a still image taken from the Woodland Cam feed.
